There are open spots for children from 5-8 and for 9 and up. These nature-based programs are focused on learning in a fun and inclusive way.

 The 4th annual Philadelphia Honey Festival

at

 The Wagner Free Institute of Science

Friday, September 6th

10:00am-12:00pm 

In addition to an interactive lesson, natural history specimens, and scavenger hunt, this special program also includes a visit from the president of the Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild, honey extraction and tasting, open hive demonstration (weather permitting), and bee-related crafts and activities!
 

This event is free, but donations are greatly appreciated and reservations are required.
