The highlight of this year's Annual Chinese Festival is the Kunqu opera. This 500-year-old style of Chinese opera is one of the world's oldest form of Opera.
The 3 day Delaware Chinese festival began today and ends Sunday and also features Chinese hand puppets, a dragon dance, a fashion show, martial arts, Chinese dough modeling, Chinese tea drinking, gourmet Chinese cuisine and more.
The opera will be performed at 4 and 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission is Free, $3.00 for parking.
The location of the festival is 1313 Little Baltimore Road, Hockessin.
