The Delaware Children’s Museum is supporting Doodle 4 Google, a national competition open to students in grades K-12, by encouraging Delaware kids to enter and by exhibiting the State Finalists’ doodles in an exhibition this summer.
The annual competition, like so many of the DCM’s programs and exhibits, encourages and celebrates the creativity of young people. Submissions will be judged in five grade groups—K-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12—and official entry forms can be obtained at the DCM or online at http://www.google.com/doodle4google.
The winning doodle will be featured on google.com, and the winning doodler will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, a $50,000 technology grant for his or her school, and other prizes.
Note: Official Rules explicitly include US homeschoolers!
