Travel back in time to discover the life and
music of Ludwig Van Beethoven! With the
help of a boy named Christoph, we will
learn about the life of a great artist who
continued to create musical masterpieces
despite becoming deaf. Students will listen
to excerpts of his symphonies, sonatas
and chamber music.
THE MAGIC OF MOZART

Learn about the Wunderkind Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart who began writing
music at age six and composed his first
opera by age eight! Students will listen to
excerpts of several symphonies, but focus
on his famous opera, The Magic Flute.
INTRO TO DANCE HISTORY
Ages 12 – 15 Teacher – Henderson

Students will be introduced to dance history
through the performance of many
different dance styles: Jazz, Ballet,
Modern, African and more.
RECORDER CLASS

Instrumental Ensemble Rates 16 weeks
A beginning recorder class which includes
the study of basic musical notation. Good
preparation for young students interested
in learning to play the flute.
