Delaware Homeschoolers' Coalition is seeking to hear from Delaware's homeschooling families to discuss issues currently affecting homeschoolers. With the inevitable changes of an election year, DHC urges the homeschooling community to become united, informed on the issues, and involved with the government in a positive, proactive relationship.
This month's agenda includes:
* DHC activities with legislators and the
Department of Education
* Planning a statewide food drive
* Legislative Cookie Day

Mission Statement:
Delaware Homeschool Coalition (DHC) is a partnership of individuals, families, and homeschool organizations that focuses on protecting parents’ rights to direct their children’s education, and promoting the interests of Delaware homeschoolers. Membership is open to all regardless of race, religion, political views, family structure, special needs, or educational choices. DHC regularly interacts with its members to better understand and represent their concerns, inform them about governmental activities, and to provide networking and educational opportunities, such as speakers, events, and resources. DHC actively monitors legislation, and interacts with the Delaware General Assembly, local schools, districts, and state agencies whenever necessary, to promote the interests of its membership.
