"The greatest of all American plays."
- The Wall Street Journal

Amanda, clinging to youthful memories of being wooed by scores of rich and handsome suitors, is determined to find her daughter a husband, but Laura, crippled and painfully shy, plays with her collection of glass animals and lives in a world of her own. Amanda's son, Tom, an aspiring poet in a dead-end job, secretly dreams of escape. This powerful and delicate masterpiece will touch your heart and stir your emotions.

About the REP/PTTP

The University of Delaware Professional Training Program/Resident Ensemble Players is a powerful and unique marriage of a resident professional acting company and a conservatory training program. Operating like two sides of a single coin, the PTTP and the REP are each distinctive aspects of one artistic mission that manifests itself in a theatre organization that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Classical Conversations' grammar students learn a Timeline with 160 events, US Presidents, memory work in History, Geography, Science, Math, English, Bible, and Latin. Each week, children have a chance to practice their oral presentation skills, participate in a fine arts lesson, as well as a science project.
