HOME SCHOOL CREATIVE WRITING SAMPLER I & II
Ages 9-13
Wednesdays 12:30-1:30 pm
This class will instruct your home school students in the art of getting creative with writing! Topics explored in the first session will be Poetry and Life Writing. Topics explored in the second session will be Story Writing and creating a picture book. Each class period will include journal writing, fun writing exercises, creative projects, and examples of writing from classics of children’s literature. Sara Rowe, who has a MA in Children’s Literature and has been published in a number of pre-teen and teen magazines, will teach the class. Class is limited to eight students. A materials fee of $5 for each session must be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.

HOME SCHOOL READING FUN
(9-13 year olds)
Wednesdays 1:45-2:45 pm
Children will have fun with the books they read! Over the course of each session several children’s classics in different genres will be assigned. Students will participate in discussion related to the topics explored in the book and in themed activities and crafts. A list of the books that will be read over the course of each session can be obtained by emailing the instructor at sararowe29@gmail.com. PRE SCHOOL ART AND CRAFTS
Ages 4-6

An hour of creative art and craft projects for young children! Each session will offer different projects. Basic supplies are included. For your convenience, class meets on the same day and time as our Art Class for older students. Class limit: 10.

ART CLASS
Ages 7-13
Tuesdays 12:30-1:30 pm
Your children will have the opportunity to express themselves creatively using pencil, charcoal, pastel, paint, and clay. Basic art skills will be introduced as well as some fun projects that incorporate these skills. This is a complete well-rounded art program. Basic supplies are provided. There may be a small material fee for special projects. Class limit: 10.

HOME SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Boys and Girls: Ages 6-12
Tuesdays 1:40-2:40 pm
This is a basic elementary school PE Program. This continuing program (offered in both the fall and spring) is designed to run for a regular school year. Different activities will be introduced during the year. Come join us for fun and rewarding physical activity! Please register in advance.
