Join the Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy for a fun-filled afternoon on the Brandywine River. The family-friendly event, which benefits the Conservancy, begins with a relaxing canoe ride and ends with a barbecue provided by Brandywine Prime and live music by local group the Cameltones.


WHEN
Saturday, July 18.
Canoes depart at 1:30 and arrive at the dinner destination around
6 p.m. Live music and dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Children 2-12 are free!

The Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy is a volunteer membership group dedicated to furthering the goals of the Brandywine Conservancy and its two operating programs, the Environmental Management Center and Brandywine River Museum. In addition to sponsoring on-going education programs for children and families, the Young Friends host special events throughout the year designed to elevate adult and child awareness of art and the environment.
