Revolutionary War Reenactment coming to Brandywine Creek State Park!

The British are Coming!
On Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, Brandywine Creek State Park will be the setting for a Revolutionary War reenactment of the Battle of Cooch’s Bridge, the only Revolutionary War battle fought in Delaware! Watch historical reenactors recreate the battle and celebrate its 230th anniversary. The reenactment will take place in the park from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The cost of the event will be $20 per car.

The reenactments are be based on the battle between General Howe’s Advanced Guard and General Maxwell’s Light Corps. Brandywine Creek State Park will also be offering related programs, both during the event and in the months before. Brandywine Creek State Park is conveniently located just off of I-95 and Route 202, minutes from the city of Wilmington and the Pennsylvania border.
